We are scientists from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, the International Water Management Institute in Sri Lanka, the University of Leeds, UK, and public health professionals from the NGO-Forum for Public Health, Bangladesh.
We are developing effective management strategies for the treatment and processing of waste from household single pit latrines – and investigating ways to reuse it. Our research is funded by the Government of the Netherlands, through the BRAC WASH programme, with support from International Water and Sanitation, in the Netherlands.
